As the number of worshipers arriving at Al-Aqsa mosque increased from all over the country and at the request of the Arab Health Center regarding the urgent need to support the clinics at the mosque of Al-Aqsa as the needs for medication and medical supplies increase to ensure medical services during the holy month of Ramadan, Alquds Fund and Endowment provided the requirements indicated by the Management of Medical Clinics in the holy Mosque of Al-Aqsa.
A Ramadan Iftar was organized in the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque towards the end of the holy month of Ramadan in a message of sincere gratitude and loyalty to the State of Kuwait. It was attended by hundreds of worshipers from the visitors of Al-Aqsa Mosque from all over Palestine. The event was part of a program organized by the Palestinian community in Kuwait in coordination with a number of Jerusalem institutions.
The Silwan Women’s Revolutionary Center in Jerusalem held opening ceremony for playrooms specialized in providing psycho-social support programs, with support and funding by Alquds Fund and Endowment, and implementation by the Community Action Center of Al-Quds University. This is within the program for the economic, cultural and social empowerment program for Jerusalemites, funded by Alquds Fund and Endowment and Islamic Development Bank.
The Chairman of Alquds Fund and Endowment, Mr. Munib Al-Masri, completed his tour in Jerusalem immediately after his release after the interrogation\ in the Russian Compound after being taken there during the closure of the Endowments Islamic Conference in Jerusalem, the Supreme Islamic Council.
The Community Action Center, in collaboration with the Land Research Center and by support from Alquds Fund and Endowment, held a free-of-charge awareness-raising day at the headquarters of the Community Action Center in the old city of Jerusalem. The day included awareness-raising interviews on the issues of exclusion and labor law, in the presence of around dozens of Jerusalemites from different segments and ages.
Alquds Fund and Endowment and the Association of Refugee Girls (Dar Al-Fatat Al-Laje'a) signed an agreement to fund the costs of the license and the optimization tax to the amount of of $150,000 in the project for the expansion of Al-Hassad Model School and adding twelve classrooms to the school located in the Ashqaria neighborhood in the town of Beit Hanina in Jerusalem. The agreement is within the Fund's programs and plans towards the promotion of the resilience of the city of Jerusalem and the development of the education sector.
